Dear visitors,
European Sobudo Rengokai (ESR) Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha is proud to welcome you on its website.
ESR is a non-profit organisation (AISBL) set-up under the Belgian law. It received by "arrêté royal" its civil personnality the 8th July 2002. We are based in Liège (Belgium) since 2002.
We are a direct branch of Nihon Sobudo Rengokai (NSR). Our aim is the teaching of Sobudo from Nihon Sobudo Rengokai Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha. The head of the school is soke Nakamura Hisashi. In ESR, the teaching is led by Okuden Shihan Nibogu Igen Minamoto no Takemitsu. We teach Aikido, Jukenpo, Iaido, Jodo, Kendo, Shugijutsu and Shurikenjutsu Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha. Our teaching follows the Japanese rules and all our teachers hold menkyo from NSR.
ESR received from soke Nakamura's hands an official authorisation to teach Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha Sobudo, to use the name ans the seal of the school. This document approved ESR as an official representative of Nihon Sobudo Rengokai and Takeda ryu Nakamura Ha. This agreement is the insurance of the high quality of our teaching.

We wish you a good trip trough our pages.

It is a double event which took place on Tuesday, September 7th, at Sobukan Herstal: first, it was the official beginning of the 2010/2011 season (although the lessons for enthusiasts have never stopped during the summer!), and secondly it was, in the context of our international organisation (ESR), the opportunity for Nyborg Sensei to give a series of Dan diplomas received from Japan and signed by Soke Nakamura's own hand.
